#OffsetLDN

With over 2,500 attendees to our DUBLIN event each year, OFFSET has fast become one of the world’s most inspirational, educational and vocational conferences for the design and creative industries. This year we are stretching our wings and coming across the pond to host our first international OFFSET in the historic Shoreditch Town Hall in London’s East End this November 12th and 13th.

Following his standing ovation performance at OFFSET Dublin earlier this year (well deserved it was too), we are delighted to again host the award-winning children’s author and illustrator Tomi Ungerer. Tomi will be joined in conversation by a surprise guest as he takes us through his generation spanning career.

Other OFFSET Dublin alumni are the wonderfully quirky, inspiring and inventive creative director Erik Kessels from Dutch agency KesselsKramer and Graphic Thought Facility’s Andy Stevens both having established themselves as two of the most sought after agencies in Europe, examples include store environments for M&S, Comms for Aer Lingus, re-branding for Hans Brinker Hostel,  exhibition design for the Science Museum and campaigns for the Frieze Art Fair.

McBess is one of the most interesting illustrators and animators working today. His work has recently graced the walls of the London Underground for TFL’s “Travel Better” campaign.  Rachel Thomas sits somewhere between an art director and set-designer and her work spans many media from print to installation. Her clients include Stella McCartney, Mulberry, Hermes, Topshop, Ikea, London Underground and Sotheby’s.
