WORKSHOP WITH CONOR PURCELL
A step by step workshop on the elements to consider in successfully setting up your own indie magazine – from developing the concept, design, format (size, paper stock etc), publishing frequency, PR/marketing and building your brand.
Workshop led by Conor Purcell, an experienced, writer, editor and publisher who has created award-winning magazine and books across the world. His writing has appeared everywhere from Esquire and Rolling Stone to Foreign Policy and the Guardian. He has created a number of magazines including the independent travel magazine We Are Here and the quarterly title We Are Dublin.
The workshop will be followed by a launch of The Magazine Blueprint at 6pm and panel discussion with some of the brightest lights in the independent publishing scene talking the state of the independent publishing industry.
