ILLUSTRATED BEER LABEL DESIGN PROJECT

WORKSHOP WITH STEVE SIMPSON | 12-02-17 | 10AM-5PM

Ideal for anyone wanting to apply their illustration skills to packaging design. You will be illustrating designing your own BECK’S beer bottle label including an illustrated barcode. This course is suitable for everyone with an interest in illustration and character design. The workshop will focus on character design, illustration, hand lettering, fun barcode design. You will NOT need to bring a bottle of beer, Beck’s will be kindly sponsoring this for us:)
Attendees can also have their work included as part of the OFFSKETCH exhibition held later that evening at 6pm and even avail of a complimentary bottle of Beck’s beer.

Capacity: This workshop is limited to 20 people.

All attendees with receive an OFFSITE Goody Bag.

Students need to bring:
• SKETCHBOOK
• scissors/scalpel
• ruler
• glue (Prit stick or similar)
• pencils, pens and colouring materials (watercolour/inks/coloured pencils/markers – your choice – from experience watercolours have proved the easiest to work with)
• laptop/ipad or smartphone for accessing search engine for reference material (not for creating artwork)
• a few sheets of paper for the final design (not too heavy as they need to wrap around the bottle)

The final piece of art will be glued to the bottle.
