Blexbolex’s style of illustration (the abstraction of the human figure, vibrant color and experimental design and print techniques) mark him out as a pioneer in the form. Starting out as a comic artist, his artistry came to the world’s attention after he joined the comics group Le Dernier Cri. Blexbolex’s work has been featured in various prestigious art forms, such as The New York Times, Le Monde and The Ganzfield.

He has written many graphic novels and children’s books, such as No Man’s Land & Abeccederia (both published by London indie publisher & OFFSET friends No Brow), and the critically acclaimed children’s book trilogy ‘People‘, ‘Seasons‘ and ‘Ballad‘ that won “Best Book Design of the World” at the Leipzig Book Fair. His latest book “Nos vacances” has just won a Golden Nugget at the Jeunesse Book Fair in Montreuil.
