    OFFSET 2013
OFFSET 2013 An overview of OFFSET 2013. If you like what you see and want to come to our next event we have just confrimed March 21-23 2014 as our Dublin dates!
    BEN BOS | OFFSET 2013
BEN BOS | OFFSET 2013 Ben Bos kicked off OFFSET 2013 and he was a legend in every sense, so passionate about Design and supportive of the event, he could be seen all over the venue engaging with the other speakers and delegates a like!
    OLIVIERO TOSCANI | OFFSET 2013
OLIVIERO TOSCANI | OFFSET 2013 Sometimes careers rightly or wrongly are identified by works so extraordinary that other successes seem to pale. Hugely successful brand campaigns for Esprit and Chanel, collaborations with Elle, Vogue and GQ, founding Fabrica, the international centre for arts and modern communication research, would be crowning achievements in other people’s careers. But then, Toscani seared the United Colors of Benetton into our collective brains.
    NATASHA JEN | OFFSET 2013
NATASHA JEN | OFFSET 2013 Natasha’s practice has been notable for crossing media genres, drawing on references from a diverse range of cultural, historical, aesthetic, and technological sources. Her work encompasses brand identities, environmental design, multi-scale exhibitions, signage systems, print, motion and interactive graphics, created in collaborations with universities and professional organisations, museums and galleries, and retail and fashion brands.
    JR | OFFSET 2013
JR | OFFSET 2013 Day Two finished with JR, who brought the house down with first his street art collaborative projects, and then his video work. His talk was literate, adult, hip and pretty amazing.
    BOB GILL | OFFSET 2013
BOB GILL | OFFSET 2013 A presentation that lasted a little over 15 minutes which then proceeded into a combative conversation with 2,000 people – fielding questions from Adrian Shaughnessy, taking a swipe at Iain Tait’s jumper and having a barney with Kate Moross. AMAZING!
THE STONE TWINS | OFFSET 2013
THE STONE TWINS | OFFSET 2013 If you have been smart enough to have followed the Stone Twins' progress over the past fourteen or so years, you will know that their work is ambitious, playful and always engaging. The duo pride themselves on their concept driven design solutions, boast an enviable set of clients that include ASICS, Volvo and Lewis, Design Academy in Eindhoven.
    GAVIN O'SULLIVAN | OFFSET 2013
GAVIN O'SULLIVAN | OFFSET 2013 A Creative Director at the top of his game, working in (give or take) the largest Irish advertising agency Gavin talked about ideas, where they come from and, close to a first for OFFSET, writing.
    EOGHAN KIDNEY | OFFSET 2013
EOGHAN KIDNEY | OFFSET 2013 Eoghan took us on a trip though his animation and film projects, impressing with the breadth of his work and also his taste. An engaging and passionate talk that made us all want to make music videos!
    BEN NEWMAN | OFFSET 2013
BEN NEWMAN | OFFSET 2013 It takes a certain sort of man to enter the stage to Van Halen. It take another sort of man to Hula hoop in front of a packed auditorium. Both of these men are Ben Newman. A genuinely funny talk from a funny, genuine guy, Newman spoke about work, colours and creativity. And we loved having him over to Dublin.
    CALEF BROWN | OFFSET 2013
CALEF BROWN | OFFSET 2013 Calef began by talking about his route into illustration – the false starts – before busting out into verse and reciting the poems from his books. If you had any love for words, rhymes and verbal dexterity, it was kind of magical.
CHRIS SILAS NEAL | OFFSET 2013
CHRIS SILAS NEAL | OFFSET 2013 Based in Brooklyn, Chris Silas Neal switches working between editorial illustration, books and now animation. A talk that really encompassed everything that illustrators go through in their careers, from troublesome clients to different approaches to a brief.
    CIARÁN ÓGAORA | OFFSET 2013
CIARÁN ÓGAORA | OFFSET 2013 It was Zero-G’s Ciarán ÓGaora who reminded us what it was all about – staying true to your ideas, seeking the right solutions and about forging a life doing what we love doing. Engaging and sincere, the entire room felt like Ciaran had given a lot – but he’d a lot more left to give.
    CRAIG & KARL | OFFSET 2013
CRAIG & KARL | OFFSET 2013 Antipodean globe-trotters, Craig and Karl opened proceedings on Day Three. Colourful work, brimming with good humour and fun. The Woody Allen portrait was close to our hearts.
    DRIVE PRODUCTIONS | OFFSET 2013
DRIVE PRODUCTIONS | OFFSET 2013 Ben Fender and Imogen Hammond from Drive took to the stage showcasing their mind-boggling 4d projection mapping illusions – a mixture between technology, imagination and, basically, magic.
    IAIN TAIT | OFFSET 2013
IAIN TAIT | OFFSET 2013 One of the themes of the weekend that emerged – ‘hacking’, was something that Iain Tait, Executive Creative Director at Google Creative Lab hammered home: use and shape what’s around you to create great things. Yes sir!
