The Countdown Begins for Portfolio Lab. ICAD’s speed-dating type, event to help emerging creative talent break into ad land.
Next Thursday, September 17th, the creative industry’s annual speed-dating and networking event for young talent takes place in Dublin.
Run by the Institute of Creative Advertising (ICAD), Portfolio Lab aims to help emerging talent break into the advertising and design industry by putting their work under the scope of Ireland’s leading creative directors. Places are limited to 60 and booking closes next Wednesday morning, September 16th.
This is for any graduate and final year student of any creative disipline who are interested in persuing a career in advertising. You will have direct access to the people who are leaders in their field and you will gain constructive feed back of your portfolio.
Each participant meets 3 different creative directors for 20 minutes each to present their portfolio and receive feedback on how to improve their work.
An etiquette class will also run every hour to uncover the Do’s and Don’ts of pitching yourself to prospective employees. Hosted by Eoghan Nolan of Brand Artillery, he will advise on how to get noticed for the right reasons.
Tickets are €20 and limited to 60 places. Portfolio lab takes place next Thursday, September 17th 2015, 6-10pm
